Eastside Equities is an owner operator of affordable multi family housing units throughout the Southeast region of the US. Our company structure is made up of Owner Operator, VP, Regional Managers, Site Managers, Maintenance Techs, General Contractors, Sub Contractors, Equity Partners and Private Lenders.
Affordable Housing units to include LIHTC, USDA RD and HUD properties have become our primary focus for acquisitions and should remain so in to the foreseeable future. Historically we have sought market rate assets with a distressed or value add component. Presently we are focusing on acquiring LIHTC properties at or near the end of their compliance period. Over the last few years we have purchased numerous LIHTC properties all of which are self managed. We currently have multiple LIHTC properties pending purchase.
Our goal is to expand our affordable housing portfolio throughout Southeast, Mid Atlantic and Gulf coast region of US. While we continue to per ate in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida our latest acquisitions have been in Richmond, Virginia, Mobile, Alabama and Pascagoula, Mississippi.
Additional experience includes turning historic properties requiring full gut rehab. In 2010 we won renovation of the year award for revitalizing Courthouse Lofts in Vero Beach. This is not an area we wish to pursue in the future although under the right circumstances may do so. We are experienced in the condo conversion process involving an up fit to class A. While it has been close to 10 years since our last condo conversion project we successfully completed a conversion, renovation and sell out process in 2017. This project known as Dolphin Cove in New Smyrna Beach, Fl. This property included the permitting and development of a marina involving roughly 1/4 mile of boardwalk and 49 docks.
